La terza peculiarit\u00e0 riguardava proprio queste ultime, perch\u00e9 lo spettacolo ha segnato il debutto delle videoproiezioni all&#8217;interno del prestigioso Dorothy Chandler Pavillion.<\/p><p>Levi e Metalli avevano gi\u00e0 collaborato in passato, ad esempio per un Macbeth allo Sferisterio di Macerata, e Levi ha detto: &#8220;Lavorare con Sergio \u00e8 sempre meraviglioso, ma\u00a0 questa volta \u00e8 stato particolarmente bello. Abbiamo lavorato per quindici giorni con un set e delle comparse, preparando le immagini da proiettare. Io, Sergio e suo figlio Mattia abbiamo costruito tutto e, grazie ai mezzi di Sergio, si potevano visualizzare in tempo reale le immagini, decidendo eventuali modifiche. Ho illuminato il set in modo che le proiezioni combaciassero con l&#8217;azione in scena. I risultati si sono visti sul palcoscenico e, ad esempio, tutto il secondo atto \u00e8 basato su luci e proiezioni: la cosa straordinaria \u00e8 che si perde il palcoscenico, lo spettatore non capisce dov&#8217;\u00e8 il confine tra la scena vera e quella proiettata, il che rende tutto come meravigliosamente intangibile\u201d.<\/p><p>Levi quindi smentisce l&#8217;idea che il lavoro del lighting designer sia penalizzato dalle proiezioni: &#8220;In questo caso \u00e8 successo esattamente il contrario, grazie anche alla potenza dei proiettori&#8221;.<\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><p>Un altro luogo comune smentito dal Fidelio era che i melomani fossero sempre riluttanti ad accettare l&#8217;impiego della tecnologia nei &#8220;loro&#8221; spettacoli, come conferma Jeff Kleeman, Direttore Tecnico del Los Angeles Opera: &#8220;I risultati ottenuti sono stati estremamente buoni e l&#8217;intensit\u00e0 e la risoluzione erano le migliori che molti dei membri della produzione tecnica avessero mai visto. Tutte le reazioni che ho sentito sono state immensamente entusiaste &#8211;\u00a0 il pubblico ha capito perfettamente che le proiezioni erano concepite ed integrate con grande cura. Credo inoltre che l&#8217;utilizzo delle proiezioni funger\u00e0 da catalizzatore per una pi\u00f9 diffusa integrazione tra mezzi ad alto contenuto tecnologico e la scenografia tradizionale costruita artigianalmente. Sergio e Pier&#8217;Alli hanno collaborato strettamente dall&#8217;inizio sul concetto di questa produzione per armonizzare proprio questo aspetto.
