Carmen di Georges Bizet, in scena il prossimo gioved\u00ec 24 luglio per la stagione estiva del Teatro dell\u2019Opera di Roma, un\u00a0 allestimento particolare, in prima mondiale assoluta, dove le immagini proiettate avranno un ruolo preponderante.<\/p><p>\u201cImmagini evocative saranno usate per suggerire il carattere interiore di questo personaggio in una lettura anticonvenzionale\u201d spiega il regista Francesco Esposito alla sua prima \u201cCarmen\u201d, ma che di allestimenti ne ha gi\u00e0 firmati centoundici. \u201cNei tre schermi giganti, lunghi 7 metri e alti 3.75, figure astratte realizzate in digitale in continuo movimento con effetti pittorici immersi in un gioco di luci. Le ha realizzate il projection designer Sergio Metalli, partendo anche dalle fotografie dei costumi di scena realizzati dalla stilista Alberta Ferretti: gonne di color arancio, rosso e ambra indossate dalle donne in scena\u201d<\/p><p>\u201cGli schermi inoltre &#8211; racconta Esposito &#8211; si muoveranno parallelamente al boccascena, facendo vedere a tratti le rovine illuminate delle terme imperiali, fino a diventare parte integrante della scena, come accadr\u00e0 durante la scena della seduzione\u201c.<\/p><p>Pur mantenendo un carattere sivigliano, i costumi griffati di Alberta Ferretti non saranno rigorosamente datati, ma avranno una linea atemporale, come la definisce lo stesso regista.<\/p><p>\u201cSono abiti che parlano la lingua simbolica del cromatismo in un\u2019alternanza, non scontata, tra rosso, bianco, arancio nei costumi della diabolica e seducente Carmen. Nel terzo e nel quarto atto &#8211; continua Esposito &#8211; gli abiti si scoloriscono fino a chiudere in bianco in un tutt\u2019uno con la scena.
