l&#8217;ambizione per il potere, ma la necessit\u00e0 di amare ed essere amata. Come la tragica shakespeariana, anch&#8217;essa ricorre al crimine per raggiungere il suo obiettivo. Ma l&#8217;autore inglese ebbe uno sguardo pi\u00f9 pietoso e copr\u00ec con un velo di pazzia gli ultimi giorni della sua signora; invece Nikolaj Leskov, l&#8217;autore del romanzo su cui si basa l&#8217;opera, non risulta altrettanto benevolo con la sua antieroina. Quantunque Katherina passi anch&#8217;essa per uno stato di delirio, deve affrontare il disprezzo, l&#8217;abbandono e la gelosia prima di prendere la tragica decisione di suicidarsi, ma lo fa con lucidit\u00e0 e premeditazione.<\/p><p>Su questo melodramma, \u0160ostakovi\u010d ha composto l&#8217;opera e Sergio Ren\u00e1n ha elaborato una messa in scena di risolutezza estetica impeccabile. Con il contributo di Tito Egurza, \u00e8 ricorso a poche strutture scenografiche: un disegno ovale al centro della scena ha permesso di posizionare il direttore e l&#8217;orchestra, integrandoli nella scena nella maniera pi\u00f9 riuscita. Due scale laterali coronano l&#8217;ovale formando una seconda piattaforma, dove si trova un grande letto matrimoniale, l&#8217;unico mobilio della scena. Ma c&#8217;\u00e8 molto di pi\u00f9: la presenza della tecnologia.<\/p><p>In questa straordinaria rappresentazione di &#8220;Lady Macbeth di Mtsensk&#8221; le soluzioni tecnologiche utilizzate risultano infinitamente appropriate e con risultati efficaci. Sorprende la riproduzione di immagini virtuali, realizzate in collaborazione con Sergio Metalli, che prendono corpo e permettono di creare blocchi tridimensionali di diverse trame, presentare immagini gigantesche di una donna molto sensuale, disegnare una sequenza di delirio con grandi spirali e comporre cieli di diversi colori. Inoltre si utilizza la televisione per trasmettere simultaneamente, in diversi momenti dello spettacolo, la figura del direttore d\u2019orchestra, della protagonista e di una parte del coro.<\/p><p>Al disegno scenico, si aggiungono gli interpreti degli ottoni, che si distribuiscono lungo le scale per eseguire alcuni frammenti dell&#8217;opera. Una soluzione che al ripetersi ha minore effetto, soprattutto perch\u00e9 i musicisti, portando i loro strumenti, non possiedono pi\u00f9 la disposizione corporale per poterlo fare armoniosamente. Tuttavia questa partecipazione risulta molto efficace dal punto di vista sonoro quando gli stessi strumentisti si posizionano a suonare nei corridoi della sala.<\/p><p>A questo punto si percepisce che la musica assume un&#8217;altra dimensione. E&#8217; una delle cose pi\u00f9 riuscite.<\/p><p>Altrettanto risulta la scena della stazione di polizia, sequenza giocata sulla piattaforma superiore, dove Ren\u00e1n stabilisce un terzo piano di azione molto attraente. Le luci, con progetto di Egurza, hanno un ruolo fondamentale e qui di nuovo Roberto Traferri, nella risoluzione luminosa, riesce specialmente nella creazione di atmosfere.
